Last week, we went to Primi Piatti for dinner. This time, I tried the Cesco pasta which is a combination of Pecorino cheese, dried tomatoes and chilli. It was really good, much better than the Carbonara. Because he loved the taste so much, Dawie had Recco again!
Primi Piatti reminds me of Werner’s in KL in some ways. That’s the place Wani and I used to go to – not that we go there often. It’s a nice fine dining restaurant with a bar on the second floor. The pizzas served were really good (from what I recall) plus it was there that I had my first Bellini and loved it ever since, which reminds me I should look around if they make Bellini here in Cape Town.
After dinner, we took a drive down to Gordon’s Bay for some ice cream. It was a rather hot evening and everybody was out and about at the ice cream parlours and bars having a few drinks.
It was one of those evenings where we didn’t really have a plan but followed whatever came to mind – it turned out to be a very lovely evening.

not a big fan of spaghettis but that one look good enough for me to want to try it.
