A cricket ground is a flat piece of earth with some buildings around it

When I got here, I was prepped on rugby and cricket as I have stated before earlier on in my blog.
It’s the cricket season now and we’ve been watching a lot of it recently on the 3rd 5 Day Test (I think that’s what it’s called).
First of all, there are more than 5 players on each side. Their uniforms are in white mostly with green or red writings (usually their sponsors). Then there’s the bat and a ball. Okay, then on each side, there will be the batter (yes, there’s probably a technical term for it but let’s call it batter, for my sake) and then someone on the other side throws bowls the ball. Let’s call it Team A and Team B. Team A bats and Team B bowls. Team B bowls and for most of the time, they are suppose to hit the wicket (I think that’s the term).
All I know is that whenever there’s a wicket, it’s a good thing! Don’t ask me anything about innings or runs. I think whenever anyone runs the best – it’s a good thing as well. That means you get points for that.

I know I sound like a total bimbo right now but this is just my take on cricket. I’m not pretending to like it for the sake of my boyfriend, just like rugby, I actually enjoy watching it and whenever he gets excited over cricket, I do too as well (although sometimes, I’d try to understand what the heck I’m getting excited over!).
Rugby season is starting in February and I’m really looking forward to it! I love it that I am learning a lot of new stuff here…
U sound adorable actualy, don't sound liek a bimbo at all!!
ReplyDeleteCricket is hard to understand but with a lot watching it, u'll get the game.
