Sushi Diet

Yesterday was spent doing some research on freelance writing jobs and cleaning the bathroom. The bath or shower area is decorated with pebble-stones all around the panel of the bath so with water/soap water splashed on them, it can get quite slimy at times and seeing that the both of us can’t stand that sort of thing (or maybe just me?) I made it my duty to clean them so it stays sparkling.

It’s quite a tiring chore – there are 126 pebble-stones (yes, baby, I counted) and each time I clean them, I have to take them off the panel. Then wipe the slime off each pebble-stone (yes, I know there’s an easier way of doing this but I’m quite anal when it comes to stuff like this) and dry them off. After that is done, I wash the panel sides and wipe them off dry. There will be some scrubbing as well. When the pebble-stones are dry, I will arrange them on the panel. Now, the thing is there’s all shapes and sizes to these pebble-stones so sometimes, there will be a few falling off the panel and into the bath… that is when I get annoyed! I can’t really simply put them however I like, I kinda have to make sure they are evenly sorted out on top of one another.

When I did the clean up the first time, I though to myself since I do most of the hard part (of course, my boyfriend does so much more which I am very thankful for ‘smile’ [also, the arranging of pebble-stones just irks me!!]) of cleaning the bath, maybe I can ask my boyfriend to help me arrange the pebble-stones back on the panel when I do my duty of cleaning them up and he agreed on helping me out with that part.

So this morning, that was exactly what Dawie did… he took 20 of the pebble-stones and re-arranged them on the bathroom window panel! He said that there would be less pebble-stone for me to arrange on the bath panel – lol! That really helped a lot, baby :p

Back to last night, after the cleaning was done, I waited for Dawie to come home from work. Earlier on, I sent him a link on sushi diet since he talked about going on a sushi diet or something to that extent; seeing that it’s one the healthiest ways to lose weight and yet, still staying healthy. We both read up on it and ended up wanting sushi for dinner – that was exactly what we had for dinner last night.

In KL, you can only get sushi at a Japanese restaurant. Over here, you can get sushi at an Italian restaurant, Thai restaurant, seafood and even some Western restaurants! They offer good promotion as well at some of these restaurants. Last evening, we went to Somneuk Thai Exotic Restaurant and Sushi Bar. They serve authentic Thai dishes and sushi. The promotion they have at the moment (from what we know of) is 50% off on their sushi specialties on Mondays.

If you’re a sushi-lover, taking two combos out of 6 or 7 listed in the menu is a good choice. It’s enough for two (depending on which combo) or even just for one person! I love sushi – any type of sushi especially if there’s Japanese mayo on the sushi. Absofrigginlutely fantastic for me!

The choices made by Dawie consist of tuna, salmon, avocado, vegetable (carrot, cucumber), prawns and crabsticks. If you were curious about sushi diet like I am, tuna, red-snapper and halibut (just to name a few) are a good choice to make as they have close to none amount of fat according to the sushi diet article.

I also read that if losing weight is my main objective then I have to avoid sushi with mayo on them.. not going to happen! I’m actually finding ways to gain a bit of weight after losing significant amount of it recently due to my not having any appetite to eat when I am facing some difficulties in life. It’s one of those things I am working on at the moment. Anyway, if sushi diet is the diet for you then it wouldn’t hurt to check out the link above! It’s always best to educate yourself on the matter before going ahead with it.
