I haven’t been able to update my blog during the weekend as we had a full weekend with family and friends. In addition to that, I had articles to write and blogging could wait. Last weekend was exciting, interesting and exhausting! All in all, it was a great experience and fabulous weekend!
I started off Friday by going to the office with Dawie to help him sort out his company’s Facebook page which you should ‘LIKE’ it – please! ‘smile’. Then we went to have some sushi at Veg and Fruits (I think that’s what it’s called) and fancy me, the sushi were really good! You wouldn’t expect them to be good coming from a tiny place like that (the sushi counter, not the entire supermarket!). After we filled our tummy with scrumptious sushi, we headed off to look-see at some sporting stuff in Sportsman Warehouse (which is having a bargain sale so if you’re looking for some sporting stuff – you should check that place out). He bought me my first Springbok jersey (which I LOVE very much) and I couldn’t wait to put it on for the rugby Stormers game on Saturday. He bought the body balance bracelet and later that day, he told me that the bracelet was working perfectly for him since I don’t annoy him that much anymore – ‘sighs’ funny guy.
That evening, he took me on a ride ('sighs' the many sexual innuendos and puns I can come up with but I shouldn't say them) on his new motorbike to Gordon’s Bay. It was so exhilarating that I forgot to breathe – really. I realised I wasn’t breathing after a few minutes. I’ve been on a bike before with my cousin for about 5 minutes and he rode the bike slowly as my father wasn’t too pleased that we went around the block on a bike ‘grin’. Then after that, his sister decided to take me on the bike… lo and behold, we fell! When my father came out, we pretended that we were sitting on the ground talking aimlessly. Yes, we were just outside my grandmother’s house when that happened. Anyway, the bike ride with the BF was smooth and it was extremely windy that evening. I trust him to drive safely even without me on it so I was glad that we got home safely ‘smile’.
Note: Will update on my first rugby match!
